Though she's not really that visible on TV these days, intrigues still find their way to where Angel Locsin is.
At the time her official launch as the latest endorser of Century Tuna was happening, Cristy Fermin—who was in another press conference for the show Paparazzi —called the 25-year-old actress "sinungaling" for denying her past with Cogie Domingo.
Most media and press people were itching to get Angel's statement about this recent din with the comebacking actor, but they were told that she made a request to limit the questions to her new endorsement.

The Kapamilya star replied, "Para dito sa shoot na ito...Siyempre ano, kung ano man yung kailangan kasi bago ka mag-endorse ng produkto, kailangan sobrang fit ka doon, e. Kung ano yung...kung ano man yung kailangan mong ipakita sa tao, hindi lang yung inaarte mo, kailangan talagang ginagawa mo...So ayun, yung [mag]-exercise ka 'tapos as much as possible andiyan yung meron akong bagong sports na ginagawa..."
Her physical activities include one to two hours of pole dancing—which according to Angel is "really difficult...kasi masakit siya sa skin"—and Muay Thai. She also got into biking recently.
She related that a biking activity with her friends is in the offing. "Inaayos na namin, yung iba kasi sa amin, kailangan pang bumili ng bike and yung iba pa sa amin, hindi pa ready magpaitim and all. Hindi sila ganun ka-fit, binu-bully pa namin sila para ano mag-exercise," Angel said.
WORKING WITH DEREK RAMSAY. In the television ad, she was paired with Derek Ramsay.
"Excited talaga ako makatrabaho si Derek...First time namin magkatrabaho," she exclaimed. "Hindi ko akalain [na] sa commercial pa kami magkakatrabaho kasi, nire-request ko siya sa isang show kaya lang, conflict sa schedule."
Derek, who was beside Angel during the interview, interjected, "Sana [matuloy ang project]...I have always said na I wanted to work with Angel, she's on the top of my list if I were to, given a choice, work with somebody...Sana matuloy."
How was it working with the Filipino-British actor?
Angel's reply: "Ay, grabe 'to! Iba 'to si Derek...Saka si Derek kasi, walang ka-arte-arte. Dun mo makikita kung bakit superbod, di ba? Kahit na anong 'pagawa mo sa set, alam ko injured siya, e, kasi galing siya sa competition, e, 'tapos may mga masakit yung katawan niya may dumudugo ganyan...Pero game na game pa rin siya kahit kung ako yun, mahihirapan na talaga siguro ako. Siya, fight [and] fight pa rin, gano'n siya ka-healthy."
For Derek's part, he said, "Ang masasabi ko lang, when Century asked, 'Who do you think would fit to be your partner?' You could ask them, ang sinabi ko talaga, si Angel Locsin. That says it all..."
AMPALAYA CON TUNA? A TV5 reporter managed to ask about the Ampalaya Anonymous, which is composed of celebrities—like, Angel, Cristine Reyes, Maxene Magalona, Carla Humphries, Bianca King, Bea Saw, Bubbles Paraiso, among others—and their non-showbiz friends. Recently, the group became controversial because of the members' Twitter exchange, which was picked up by some entertainment reporters.
Angel stated: "Wala naman pong Ampalaya, iki-clear ko lang po. Hindi...wala. Isang joke lang naman siya 'tapos parang napag-uusapan siguro dahil ang dami naming artista doon sa grupo na iyon. Pero isang malaking joke lang talaga siya."
Lastly, what does it take to please an Angel Locsin?
"Ano ba yung gusto nating pag-usapan diyan? Siguro, I think ha...Pero dapat kung magluluto siya ng dinner for me, dapat Century Tuna," she said with a smile.
